With a background in documentary, I started photographing landscapes as a way to engage with the natural environment. Over time, and with the use of a drone, this has become an exploration of how the landscape has been shaped by human activity.

“Man is everywhere a disturbing agent. Wherever he plants his foot, the harmonies of nature are turned to discord.”

— George Perkins Marsh, Man and Nature, 1864
